The Esperance Civic Centre

Opened in 1981, the Esperance Civic Centre provides the focal point of entertainment in the south-east of Western Australia.

The community facility is regularly favoured for concerts, drama, dance and music productions, conventions large and small, graduation ceremonies, meetings and more.

As the premier entertainment and multi-function complex for Shire of Esperance, the Civic Centre continues to be a valuable asset for the Esperance and wider community.

• The Main Theatre: 500 seating capacity generously tiered to provide superb uninterrupted views of the stage.
  The venue boasts extensive stage lighting and sound facilities sufficient to satisfy most touring requirements, and accessible stage level access makes bumping-in a breeze for production crews.
  The auditorium can be converted to 4 flat floor tiers providing cabaret style seating for 320 guests. This is at the discretion of the Centre Management.
  
  
• The Reception Room: Theatre-style seating capacity of 200 guests.
  The room can be divided (curtains) into two spaces: carpeted and parquet floor area.
  Kitchen with oven & warmer
  Small Bar / Kiosk area.
  
  
• The Foyer: The Foyer is a welcoming reception area for patrons to mingle and enjoy a pre-show drink from the foyer bar & kiosk.

  It can also be used for smaller meetings and events with a capacity of 130 people. The room has comfortable seating for guest to enjoy, or it can be set up in theatre style with chairs.  A large screen TV can be used for advertising or PowerPoint presentations.
